Saturday, 05.06.2010:

We expect a great task today as weather forecast is brilliant.

Busses departed at 09:00 at the TENT in Abtenau.

09:45: Pilots are on Trattberg. We expect a start between 11:00 and 12:00.

10:40: Almost no wind at Trattberg, no danger of thermal overdevelopment. Excellent weather conditions promise a great task.

11:30: Todays task:
D07 - Start
B62 - Hochknall
B28 - Riessenkareck
B25 - Jägerhütte
B36 - Taborberg
A01 - Goal in Abtenau

11:56: The first pilots will start at 12:00 at Trattberg. We can see them and the task on GoogleEarth using our LiveTracking.

12:10: Some pilots already started. Now waiting for 12:30 for the race window to open.

task5_2

12:25: Race will start soon.

task5_3

12:35: Race started. Pilots are eager to win and do not waste time.

task5_4

12:40: Elliasson Matts is flying a totally different route. What is going on here?

task5_5

12:45: Elliasson Matts had to land in Abtenau.

task5_6

12:55: Another two pilots, Vitalo Biagio Alberto and Zdravkovski Vladimir are heading towards landing in Abtenau while the rest of the pilots are now near lake Gosau.

task5_7

13:05: Valic Urban and Valic Aljaz. Two brothers from team Slovenia seem to be in leading position.

task5_8

13:20: Pilots are now near Filzmoos. It will be interesting to see which line will be the best.

task5_9

13:30: Pilots are now flying at the Dachstein. We have a big change of leading pilots.

task5_10

13:45: We have two pilots who are flying a very strange line crossing the lake Hallstadt. This is usually not a good choice.

task5_11

13:55: Charles Cazaux is leading 12 kilometers before the turnpoint near Gröbming.

task5_12

14:03: Andreas Malecki managed to overtake and is now leading before TP1 but is lower than his chasers.

task5_13

14:10: Andreas Malecki is about to complete turnpoint 1.

task5_14

14:16: Andreas Malecki completed tunpoint 1.

task5_15

14:45: Stephan Morgenthaler manager to join the leading pilots.

task5_17

15:14: Pilots are now near Radstadt

task5_18

15:19: We had those two pilots trying to pass the Dachstein in the north. One of them Neshev Vladimir seems to manage that route while Valkov Dimitar had to land near lake Hallstadt.

task5_19

15:26: Pilots are aproaching turnpoint 2. Yassen Savov managed to be leading pilot.

task5_20

15:32: Yassen Savov seems first but is quite low. Other pilots are higher and could make the turnpoint easier.

task5_21

15:40: turnpoint 2 still to complete by the first pilot.

task5_22

15:54: The next waypoint is not far from Abtenau. Pilots have to pass the "Tennengebirge" mountains.
